New postgraduate accommodation submitted for planning

PEKING UNIVERSITY HSBC BUSINESS SCHOOL (PHBS-UK) - BOARS HILL OXFORD

After an intense and extended pre-application process, Peking University’s masterplan and major project has been submitted to the Vale of White Horse District Council. In summary, the project includes 91 en suite bedrooms, a 196 seat subterranean lecture theatre, dining hall, gym, teaching spaces and a café and wc with public access. Additional, the application includes significant improvements to the street frontage facing Berkeley Road. These include re-cladding with stone, brick and render, and an additional storey over an existing lecture theatre. The full application can be viewed on the Vale’s website.
